The correct answer is option B

The purpose of Mendel's experiment with dihybrid cross was to determine whether more than one trait affect each other as they are inherited.

When the dihybrid cross was done between pea plants having two characters one is pea color and pea shape, then the result of the cross stated that one trait is unaffected by another .

This result concluded "Law of independent assortment".
