SSA stands for side-side angles.

Explanation:

SSA means there are two known sides of a triangle and one known angle that is not between the two sides and they are equal to two known sides and a angle of another triangle, the triangles are similar (that’s what SSA has to do with similar triangles)

Side side angle! if two sides and an angle not included between them are respectively equal to two sides and an angle of the other triangle then the two triangles are equal.
