Solve for t.

d=3+at^2

Firstly, subtract 3 on both sides of the equation:
d-3=at^2

Next, divide by a:
(d-3)/(a)=t^2

Lastly, square root both sides, and your answer will be
\pm \sqrt{(d-3)/(a)}=t
