If de=fg, de=2, df=4x-6, and eg=2x, what is the length of dg?

Answer: dg=8

In this question, we are assuming 3 straight segments (de,ef, and fg) connecting d to g.

Given:

If de=fg, and de=2 so, therefore, fg is 2.

We are to find the length of one segment ef to get the length of dg.

If eg is 2x and fg is 2, then ef is 2x-2.

2x=(4X-6)-2+2
