Solve x 2 + 9x + 8 = 0 by completing the square. What are the solutions?

X2 + 9x + 8 = 0

11x + 8 = 0 combine like terms

11x + 8 = 0 subtract 8 by both side
-8 = -8

11x = -8 divide both side by 11
÷11 = ÷ 11

x = - 8 / 11 solve for x
