Lizabeth says that (-12)^3 equals a positive number because the product if two negative integers is a positive integer. Do you agree? Use what you know about exponential expressions to explain.

Lizabeth's reasoning is faulty because in this expression, it's not multiplying 2 negative integers, its multiplying 3 negative integers. And while the product of 2 negative integers equals a positive, the positive product multiplied by another negative will equal a negative.
