Hi there!

We can find the slope of a line by using the following formula:

slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

We can use this formula when we have two points given.

Coordinate A(x1, y1) = (-6,2)
Coordinate B(x2, y2) = (5,-1)

Let's substitute this into our formula.

slope = ( - 1 - 2)/(5 - - 6) = ( - 3)/(11) = - (3)/(11)

Hence, the answer is D.
~ Hope this helps you!
