Let f(x)=6(2)x−1+4 .
The graph of f(x) is translated 7 units to the left to form the graph of g(x) .
Enter the equation for g(x) in the box.

The given equation is


f(x) =6(2)^(x-1)+4

And the graph of f(x) is translated 7 units to the left . So in case of left translation , we have to add 7 within the function , that is


g(x) =6(2)^(x+7-1) +4 = 6(2)^(x+6) +4

As we see that 7 is added within the function not with the function f(x) . And that's the required function of g(x) .
