A pump fills a pool at the rate of 20 cubic meters in an hour. If each cubic meter of water costs $10, how many minutes will the pump work to use up $300?

Explanation:

if there is 20 meters in 60 mins and 1 meter=10$ that means in 60 mins you get $200. If you divide by 1/2 you get $100+the $200 dollars you got before that so the hours or minutes is 60mins+(60/2)mins= 1/2 hours or 90 mins.
