So firstly, to get the slope you'll be using the formula
(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) . I'll be using points (3,7) and (11,23)

(23-7)/(11-3) =(16)/(8) =2

Now that we got the slope, to get the y-intercept we need to plug in the slope and a coordinate into the equation and solve for the y-intercept ("b").

7=2(3)+b\\ 7=6+b\\ 1=b

Now that we got the y-intercept, we can form our equation, which is y = 2x + 1, or C.
