B is true since 86 - h = the number of lemonades sold, + h = 86. The other can’t be true.

Answer:

Let the lemonades be represented by = h

Let the hot dog be represented by = 86-h

You can check this by : h+(86-h)=86. (option B)

If a snack cart sells lemonade for $2, it makes $2h for h sold lemonade;

And the cart sells hot dogs for $5, the person makes $5(86-h) for (86-h) sold hot dogs.

In total the vendor gets $330, then equation becomes: 2h+5(86-h)=330.
