When a point is rotated 180 degrees about the origin, the following transformation of the point occurs:

(x,y) \rightarrow (-x,-y)

This basically means that you will flip the positive/negative signs for x and y:

x = 1

x' = -1

y = -6

y' = 6

(1,-6) \rightarrow \boxed{(-1,6)}

The image will be (-1, 6).
