You can calculate the volume of the blocks themselves and then multiply by 8.

1/4 * 1/4 * 1/4 = 1/64

1/64 * 8 = 8/64 = 1/8

volume would be 1/8 cubic meters

Answer:

Volume of rectangular prism is 0.125 cubic meter.

Explanation:

It is given that a rectangular prism was filled by 8 blocks with side length of 1/4 meter.

Now it is clear from the question that volume of all blocks are equal to the volume of prism.

Therefore Volume of prism = number of blocks × volume of single block

V = 8 × (1/4)³ = (8×1)/64 = 1/8 = 0.125 meter³

Answer is 0.125 cubic meter.
