If an individual's behavior is being influenced unbeknownst to him/her, when can priming become manipulative? how is it different from the controversy a few years back when cinemas used subliminal advertising during previews to "encourage" people to buy from the confectionary stand? explain.

In today’s society, these concerns are pertinent, especially by means of a lot of mediums of entertainment. In your everyday life, watching your favorite shows could inculcate the themes of drugs, sex, and violence. There is no reason for a kid not to adjust to the thoughts of saying cuss words or praising sexual or violent acts in his/her thoughts and daily routines or actions when he/she sees them being repeated through popular media.
