Since m = 3, you write it in the y = mx + b and substitute the (x,y) with (-2,-2) in order to find the y-intercept

So,

-2 = -2(3) + b

-2 = -6 +b
Add 6 to both sides

B = 4

The final answer is :
y = 3x + 4
