Hi there!

Let th' required number = x

Then,
According to th' question :-

15 × x² = 20 × x

⇒ 15x² = 20x

⇒ 15
\frac {x^2}{x} = 20

⇒ 15x = 20

⇒ x =
\frac {20}{15} =
\frac {4}{3}

Hence,
The required non-zero number =
\frac {4}{3}

~ Hope it helps!

"Fifteen times" = 15 times a number
"square of an non-zero number" = x times itself (x^2)

"
Fifteen times the square of an non- zero number" = 15 times x^2 = 15x^2

"20 times" = 20 times a number
"the number" = same number as the first term: x

"
20 times the number" = 20x

The equation can be written as follows:

15x^2 = 20x

Divide both sides by x:

15x = 20

Divide both sides by 15 to get x by itself:

x = (20)/(15) = \boxed{x = (4)/(3)}
