You can set up a proportion like this, where the smaller figure is represented in the numerator, the larger figure in the denominator, and each fraction represents the similar relationship between them in different forms:

(48)/(75) = (4)/(x)

Solve for x using cross-multiplication:

48x = 300 \\ x = 6.25

The corresponding side of the larger figure is 6.25 inches long.
