Jerry Falwell complained about what he considered as a nascent socialism of a welfare state and moral decline as a result of youth revolt. He complained about the decline of traditional Christian values and a culture whereby the youth had been introduced to the drugs and were greatly devoid of character and discipline, He complained that the public school system was permeated with secular humanism.
