To make this easier we can convert the fractions to whole numbers and then back.
Lets have 100 represent the can.
1/4 = .25 so we will convert it to 25
100 - 25 = 75
1/5 of 75 is 15
75 - 15 = 60
60/100 = 6/10 = 3/5
