Hello!

The last two answers say how the cardiovascular system supports the respiratory system, which is not what the question asked. Therefore, we can pick from the first two.

We breathe in oxygen and exhale it as carbon dioxide. None of this carbon dioxide is stored. Some of the oxygen you inhale will be transported to a part of the lungs where chemicals will pick it up and carry it into the bloodstream to provide oxygen to other organs.

The answer is B) The respiratory system supplies the oxygen that the cardiovascular system transports to the different cells for the production of energy.

I hope this helps!
