Not really bc macbeth was the than of cawdor one of the kings loyalists friends he wouldnt have expected Macbeth to kill him bc he was being a good host to the king and did good at his job

Well, he would've been a fool, if he was informed of Macbeth meeting the witches, but he didn't know, and he trusted macbeth, so he's not a fool.
