The form of the equation is point-slope form, and it's in the form (y-y1)=m(x-x1), where m is the slope. Therefore, 3 is the slope in this case because 3=m.

We need to rewrite it in slope-intercept form.
y-2 =3x-3
y =
3x
- 1
Slope is 3.
