Answer:

By forming monomers of food or Breaking down the complex food into simpler forms.

Step-by-step explanation:

The food consists of the macro molecules. They are carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleotide. These are polymers and a very stable compound. During digestion, they do not break down by simple hydrolysis reaction. Therefore, enzymes need for digestion. The enzymes are bio catalyst and they break down the polymers into monomers. Then the monomers are easily absorbed into the blood. There are different enzymes require for digestion such as amylase acts on starch and convert it into glucose. The lipase enzyme breaks down the lipids into fatty acid and glycerol, protease converts proteins into amino acids.
