What was life like for a religious person in the colonies

At the end of the colonial period, the church had hit at least 60 percent in all the colonies. The middle colonies, including the Quaker’s, Catholics, Lutherans, a few Jews and others, had a mixture of faiths. The southern colonists, including Baptist, and Anglicans, were a blend as well.
