A line the passes through the y-axis at -5. This point is (0,-5).
a line the passes through the x-axis at -14. This point is (-14,0).

slope =(y2 -y1)/(x2 - x1)
slope = (-5-0)(0-(-14)) = -5/14
slope =-5/14
