Hit the second button on your calculator and then the tan button and you will see this on your screen:
tan ^(-1)(. It is after that parenthesis that you enter your 9.5. The angle that gives us a tangent of 9.5 is 83.99° or 84°

Answer:

The value of inverse tangent of 9.5 is 83.9°.

Explanation:

We are required,

To find the inverse tangent of 9.5

That is, we have to find
\arctan 9.5

Using the scientific calculator, we have that,

\arctan 9.5=1.465 (in radians)

Since, 1 radian = 57.3°

Then, 1.465 radian = 83.9°

Hence, the value of inverse tangent of 9.5 is 83.9°.
