North=factories
South=slaves
Most income for the south was from selling cotton too foreign countries. For the north. They got money from making things from the south’s cotton like cloths.

If you’re talking about North America then the north was more industrialized and had more trains and factories while the south had less trains and relayed more on slaves. If this is in like the 1800’s
