The Boston massacre came before the tea party. (Massacre 1770, and Tea party 1773)

The Boston Massacre came first, and then the Boston Tea Party.

The Boston Massacre in 1770, was due to the military occupation of Boston, where a group of soldiers shot at a group of protesters protesting the rate hike by England.

In 1773 there was the so-called tea riot in the Port of Boston, or what is the same, the Boston Tea Party, when a whole shipment of tea was thrown into the sea.
