Thank you everyone for gathering here today. I respect both your time and effort to come here.

Today, all of us here have a responsibility. Responsibility towards our families, our communities and the country we live in.

We are a nation of laws and only by proper implementation of law can be reduce crime and leave a better place for our children.

You might not know, but the law for some elderly drivers is different for younger people.

It does seem like a novel idea - we do need to take care of our elders, but at what cost I ask?

If tomorrow, your friend or a loved-one, God Forbid, has a near fatal accident with a car driven by an elderly, how would you like if they are easily let go off?

Driving a car on our roads comes with huge responsibility and the responsibility is equal regardless of your gender, race and age.

Cars can be deadly and they already kill thousands of people all over the country.
For the elderly, who might face certain conditions such as a weak eye-sight or a heart problem, they pose an even bigger threat to everyone and as such, these people should take more responsibility.

I ask you to sign this petition, so that we can make our roads safer, not just for ourselves, but for our children and the future generation.
