The area of a triangle is given by;
Area = 0.5 × base length × height
= 0.5×8×3
=
12 yd²

The area of the triangle = 0.5 * base * height
For the given triangle :
base = 8 yd
height = 3 yd
So, The area = 0.5 * 8 * 3 = 12 yd²
The correct answer is option (3) 12 yd²
