Simplify. x-2/x^2+4x-12

simply factorise the lower expression and cancel the (x-2)
then, as an option, you can leave it as (x-6)^-1
but I think most people just leave it as 1/(x-6)
it's entirely up to you :)

The correct answer assuming its a fraction is 1 over x + 6

The answer assuming its a division sign is 5x^3 - 12x^2 - 2 over x^2
