For question 9, determine whether the two figures are similar. If so, give the scale factor of the smaller figure to the larger figure.

The picture shows two cylinders one with a side length of 4 and radius of two, the other with a side length of 6.4 and a radius of 3.2 what is the scale factor? Please Help!!!

Yes they are similar and the scale factor is 1.6

We obtain this by dividing 6.4 over 4, which gives us 3.2
6.4/4= 1.6
And then we divide 3.2 over 2, which also gives us 3.2
3.2/2= 1.6
Since the results are the same the figure is in fact similar and the scale factor is 1.6
