Answer:

It's $459.20

This is correct on Odyssey :)

Explanation:

The used clubs, bag, golf balls & tees, shirt, and shoes should only need to be bought once.

So, $125 + $85 + $22.5 +$22.5 + $65 = $320

Then you multiply the total of the items bought by 6% or .06 the get the sales tax.

$320 x .06 = $19.2 in tax

Add the tax to the total and it's $339.2

He played once a week for 10 weeks so that's a total of 10 rounds, priced at $12 per round so 10 x $12 = $120

To get the total amount spent, you would add the cost of all of the rounds played to the cost of the equipment. $339.2 + $120 = $459.20

Given that Jim Pine purchased Used Clubs for $125, Bag for $85, Golf Balls and Tees for $22.50, Shirt for $22.50 and Shoes for $65.00.

Total cost of purchases = $(125 + 85 + 22.50 + 22.50 + 65.00) = $320.

Cost of facility = $12 per round for 10 rounds = $12 x 10 = $120.

Total cost after payment for facility = $320 + $120 = $440.

Tax = 6% of $440 = 0.06 x 440 = $26.4

Therefore, the amount it will cost Jim to play once a week for ten weeks is $440 + $26.40 = $466.40
