Subordinating conjunctions combine dependent as well as independent clauses. They are usually known as subordinators and may introduce adverb clauses. Examples would be after, because, before,by the time, even if,eventhough , the first time and everytime etc yet on this scenario there is no subordinating conjunctions.

The sentence "The crowd cheered, and Beyonce Knowles sang an encore" does not contain a subordinating conjunction. Subordinating conjunctions are use in order to connect the dependent clause to the independent clause such as the words "after" and "then".
