The probability of rolling a fair die and getting a 2, a 4, a 6 or a 3 is given by

P(2)+P(4)+P(6)+P(3)= (1)/(6) + (1)/(6) + (1)/(6) + (1)/(6) = (4)/(6) = (2)/(3)

Therefore, the odds for the event rolling a fair die and getting a 2, a 4, a 6, or a 3 is 2/3 and the odds against is 1 - 2/3 = 1/3
