For this case we have the following linear function:
y = 3x
We note that the slope of the line is:
m = 3
Therefore, we must find which of the ordered pairs satisfies the equation:
For (5, 15) we have:
x = 5
y = 15
Substituting values:
15 = 3 (5)
Rewriting
15 = 15
The equation is satisfied.
