Complete the equation of the line whose y-intercept is (0,6) and slope is 3

y=3x+6
slope is

(3)/(1) x
which can just be written as 3x
And your y intercept is the point where x=0, in this case when y=6, x=0. so you write slope(x)+/- your y intercept
