What’s the best resolution for a multiple poster project on Adobe Illustrator?

- I am taking a Graphic Design class and no where in my book can i find the proper resolution.

For the answer to the question above, I am a professional graphic designer and in my experience, the proper resolution is 300ppi. This will capture the details of the poster you are making even in production.If you are working with a picture of postcard-like the image, 500ppi is the best.
If you are working for the web, 72-150 PPI is the best.
