Answer: The volume of hay in each stack is 8/27 yards

Explanation:

Since, the volume of a cube = (side)³

Here, the side of the a cubic stack =
(2)/(3) yards,

Hence, the volume of a cubic stack,

V=((2)/(3))^3

=(8)/(27) cube yard.

⇒ The volume of hay in each stack is 8/27 yards

\left( (2)/(3)\,yd\right)^(3)=(8)/(27)\,yd^(3)

The 4th selection is appropriate.
