Compute A population of 100 flowering plants contains 60 plants that are homozygous for orange flowers (OO), 30 plants that are heterozygous for orange flowers (Oo), and 10 plants that are homozygous for white flowers (oo). O allele 60 + 60+30 = 150
o allele
30 + 10+10 = 50
O allele frequency = 150/200 = 0.75
Thus, the O allele frequency is 3/4 or 0.75
o allele frequency = 50/200 = 0.25
The o allele frequency is 1/4 or 0.25
