The solution of the equations represented by the 2 lines is the point of intersection of the two lines shown in the graph.

Here we can see that the two lines intersect at
(1,-1).

Therefore, the solution of the system of equations is
x=1,y=-1.

Note that two equations in 2 variables
a_1x+b_1y=c_1,a_2x+b_2y=c_2 has a unique solution if
(a_1)/(b_1) \\eq (a_2)/(b_2).
