The circumference of the grape fruit is
2\pi r=14, where
r is the radius. Solving for r,

r=(7)/(\pi).

The surface area of a sphere with radius r is
S=4 \pi r^2. Substituting numerical value of r,

S=4 \pi r^2 =4 \pi ((7)/(\pi) )^2 =62.39.

The surface area of the grape fruit is
62.39\;cm^2.
