Dividend: D(x)= 3x^2-2x+7
Using Syntetic Division:
! 3 -2 7
Divisor: d(x)=x+1→-1 ! -3 5
----------------------
3 -5 12
Quotient: Q(x) = 3x -5
Answer: The quotient is 3x-5

3x^2-2x+7 divided by x+1 or
3x^2-2x+7 / x+1
By long division;
x+1 |
3x^2-2x+7 = 3x-5
