Explanation: Gatsby was presented as a man who went from rags to riches. In this chapter, he meets Daisy and Tom in their home, nearly breaking a vase, Tom plays it off nonchalantly and allows Gatsby to have another chance and that pleases Daisy as she falls in lust with him again.
