A climax of a literary work is the point at which the plot reaches its most strenuous point. It is the point at which the characters have been working to achieve or have feared, and is the culmination of the rising action.

In Pygmalion, the climax is the ambassador's garden party, at which Eliza demonstrates her knowledge in its entirety and plays the part of the lady in full.

I hoped this helped, it took me some time to research the story of Pygmalion.
