and the length is 3 meters less then twice the width.
What are the demensions.

Width=17m and Length=31m

Explanation:

The perimeter of basketball court is rectangle in shape and is 96 m.

let us assume width be x m

so accordingly length will be 2*x-3=2x-3m

Perimeter= 2*(length+width)

96=2*(2x-3+x)

96=2*(3x-3)

96=6x-6

6x=102

x=102/6

x= 17

so, the width is 17m

and length is 2x-3=2*17-3=31m
