It's not A. It is in scientific notification.

The distance of planet Jupiter from the Sun is approximately 7.8 ⋅ 108 kilometers, and the distance of planet Saturn from the Sun is 1.5 ⋅ 109 kilometers. About how many more kilometers is the distance of Saturn from the Sun than the distance of Jupiter from the Sun?

A 6.3 ⋅ 10^1 kilometers
B 6.3 ⋅ 10^8 kilometers
C 7.2 ⋅ 10^8 kilometers
D 7.2 ⋅ 10^9 kilometers

Answer:

C.) 7.2 x 10^8

Explanation:

Jupiter to Sun= 7.8 x 10^8

Saturn to Sun= 1.5 x 10^9

1.5 x 10^9---> 15 x 10^8

(15-7.8) (10^8 - 10^8) =

7.2 x 10^8

Hope it helps!!!!

I imagine it is C as the distance is 778million km. The closest answer would be 7.2•10^8, and if it were to the power of 9 it would be too large a number to make sense. Hope this helps!
