A. After the play, Dana, the ticket manager, tells you, "We sold 84 adult tickets and 112 student

tickets. The student tickets are only $5 each."
You need to figure out how much money was earned from ticket sales. What information is missing, and
why do you need that information to solve this problem? (5 points)

Answer:

The missing information is how much was the unit rate for the adult tickets.

Explanation:

You need the missing information about the unit rate for the adult tickets because without that, you cannot answer how much you earned for the play in total. But with the information that we have, we can safely say that we earned 560$ from the students ticket. 560 is not the final answer.
