when people eat enough food, their health quickly deteriorates. short-term impairments include stomachaches, headaches, fainting, lightheadedness, muscle pain, decreased cognitive function (like they might not focus as well at work or school), etc. long-term impairments include decreased cardiac function (for example, people with restrictive eating disorders often die from heart attacks), gastrointestinal problems such as GERD/acid reflux, anemia, etc.
moreover, it is important to help people who don’t have food because they deserve to live a decent life. and we need to be good people :)
