the solution of the quadratic equation is twofold, to find the solution, you can factor it first.
4x² + 8x + 3 = 0
4x² + 6x + 2x + 3 = 0
2x(2x + 3) + 1(2x + 3) = 0
(2x + 3) (2x+1) = 0
2x+3=0 or 2x+1=0
x=-3/2 x=-1/2
You can try to prove that the x value above will produce 0
• first x = -3/2
= 4(-3/2)² + 8(-3/2) + 3
= 9 - 12 + 3
= 0 (true ✔️)
• second x = -1/2
= 4(-1/2)² + 8(-1/2) + 3
= 1 - 4 + 3
= 0 (true ✔️)
